Photo Blogging Challenge: Utah

We traveled to Utah this June with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. It was a wonderful vacation.

I'm actually a bit disappointed in the quality of my pictures. (Seriously, clean off the lens, will you, Sarah?) But I'm not entirely sure I could have captured the beauty of the scenery anyway. More practice needed.

But here's trying...

How sweet is this?

The wildflowers!

This cloud tickled my fancy.

Not sure you can totally appreciate the fabulousness of this photo without knowing my daughter.

  1. Gorgeous! I imagine it was hard to narrow it to 5. Except for the two with your family. Those are the best.

  2. I really like how you have captured the scenery, the colourful tones from the wild flowers on your rocky landscapes are very eye-catching with the odd splash of Orange here and there, this really makes the picture.

  3. Looks like you had some great scenery to shoot, that's for sure. A good selection for the month's theme, that's for sure.

  6. Well, if your lens was dirty, it didn't affect anything in these shots! Love them all and it looks like a good time was had by everyone.

The kid shots are absolutely the best.

  8. You returned home with some great reminders of your family time in Utah. And I tried hard, but didn't see any issues due to a dirty lens. Love the blue sky, summer colours and big smiles.

    1. Some areas certainly look more desert-y. It's an interesting mix.

  10. I think you did a very good job with your shots. What are family vacation photos without a little family in most of them? Not know your family very well, the personalities of them seem to just exude from that last shot. Well done.
